Situated on the beautiful Isle of Islay, Islay Crab Exports is a family run business specialising in the supply of high quality and mainly locally caught live velvet, green, spider and brown crabs, winkles and scallop meat throughout Europe.

Established in 1985, we have a wealth of experience in all aspects of the shellfish exporting business and pride ourselves in the quality of both our products and the service we provide to our customers, from order placement to delivery by our specially equipped refrigerated vehicles.

Our highly trained staff ensure that our quality control procedures are second to none and that only shellfish of the best size and quality is delivered.

Quality is top class and everything is fresh. The shellfish are packed and transported in our specially adapted vivier lorry. The lorry has aerated tanks and all our shellfish are transported and sold live.
